Ohio University

Enactus Ohio University was formed in fall of 2013 as a chapter of the larger Enactus organization that combines student and business forces to exploit the power of entrepreneurship to improve the standard of living for the needy. Enactus Ohio University is focusing on both local and international projects using a combination of high-tech and grassroots approaches to achieve their goals of making both social and commercial impact on the local community and abroad.

 

Enactus Ohio University is a team of students who are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and their communities through social entrepreneurship and innovation. Anyone affiliated with Ohio University can join in some capacity or another! We also are continuously pushing new projects through the pipeline and welcome anyone with a project idea.

 

About Enactus 

Enactus is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Participating students form teams on their university campuses and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need.

 

As an organization we would be trying to work on projects that would have both social and commercial impact on the community we dwell in. Projects could be finding solutions to existing problems, coming up with new sustainable businesses  - all a function of our creativity, passion and commitment towards our making a difference.
